The walk
A morning measured by the light, not the hours.
Baddegana is one of the wetland parks that keeps Colombo cooler than it should be. We walk the boardwalks at the pace of the park — pausing for purple herons, water birds at the lagoons, and the occasional troop of monkeys overhead. The traffic ten minutes away might as well be on another island.
